Latest Weddings are on my Facebook page!

I have been so busy lately, that I have not had time to update my blog with the latest weddings!  I have however uploaded photos from them onto my Facebook page which is much easier and quicker to do...

Kerry & Lyle at Casablanca Manor

Kerry and Lyle, along with friends and family, came all the way from Botswana, for their wedding at Casablanca Manor.  Here are my favourites so far...

Gavin & Lizelle at the Indaba Hotel

Here are my favourites from Gavin and Lizelle's wedding on Saturday.  As you will see they were a more unconventional couple and had a dress code where all the guests and even the bridal couple wore denim and hats!  It made for some interesting and colourful bride and groom shots!

Andre & Douwlina at Heidelberg

What a beautiful spring day Andre and Douwlina had as their wedding day!  Here are my favourites - as usual I had a hard time selecting them...

Monica & Kervin at Valverde

After getting married in a traditional Hindu ceremony on Friday, Monica and Kervin had their "white wedding" reception on Saturday at Valverde.  Here are my favourites from this sunny but chilly day...

Karin & Armin at Accolades

Here are my favourites from Karin and Armin's wedding on Friday.  For the first time in quite a while we didn't have to worry about the rain, which was awesome.  Karin was a bubbly bride, and as usual the bride and groom were great to work with!

For the first 10 minutes of the reception I sat looking through the photos and couldn't place who (an actress) Karin reminded me of.  It is usually when looking through the lens, or at the actual photos that this happens, and not necessarily when looking at the person.  I wonder if anyone else can see the same as me?

Douwlina and Andre's engagement shoot

Here are my favourites from Douwlina and Andre's engagement shoot yesterday.  As you can see we had perfectly sunshiny day to work with!

Chandre & Stefan at Idle Winds

The closer we got to Idle Winds, the harder it rained.  With the amount of weddings I've been having lately, I'm almost immune to stressing about the rain, but even so, this was just ridiculous!  Luckily, the rain stopped after a little while, and Chandre's outdoor wedding was possible.  I had to use flash more than I like as the light faded rather quickly, but still managed to get some decent shots.  Here are my favourites.

Kirsten and Gavin at River Place

Here are my favourites from Kirsten and Gavin's wedding on Thursday.  River Place is very picturesque, and the food is always great there. The bride and groom were a bit unconventional with the seating arrangement and L-shaped aisle in the chapel, and upon their exit, they were showered with streamers instead of petals, which was very unique!  I had a hard time choosing my favourites again!

Debbie and Gareth at Champetre

Debbie and Gareth's (another bride and groom from London!) wedding day dawned with gloomy clouds and the kind of rain you know is there to stay.  Knowing that they had planned on getting married outside, I was grateful that Champetre had the upstairs chapel which could be used as a back up.  However, 15 minutes before the ceremony was to begin, the rain stopped.  Chairs were frantically moved outside, and the wedding proceeded outdoors.  The heavy clouds brought atmosphere to many of the photos, and things couldn't have turned out better in the end!
