Janice and Erik at Casablanca Manor

Here are some of my favourites from Janice and Erik's wedding on Saturday.  I loved the venue and thought that Janice's twenties style dress and hairdo really suited it.  I had a really hard time picking my favourites as there are so many that I love!

Tessa and Justus at Everwood

Tessa and Justus had a lovely morning wedding at Everwood a week ago.  Having the bride and groom photography session at midday, was not ideal, but we managed, and I'm very happy with the results.   Luckily for them the cold front only came a few days later!

The donkey that tried to eat my shirt.

Some fun was had when the resident donkey at the Bridge decided to join the photo shoot at Tina and Shannon's wedding.  Being city people, I think all of us were a little unsure of him (her?)...  especially at one point when I felt something tugging at the back of my shirt...

Safely behind the fence again...

Can you spot the donkey in this photo?

What a Beautiful Church

Donovan and I were both taken with the beauty of the church that Carien and Francois got married in.  It had the most beautiful light coming in through the windows which made for some lovely photos.  Very atmospheric.

@ Home Photogapher of the Month!

Got some great news last night!  I won the @Home photographer of the month for January!   I posted some of the pics from Louise and Francois' wedding.

Thanks to everyone who voted for me!

(I noticed another photographer over took me during the night last night, but they are too late with it being February now!)

Each Wedding has a different Feel...

Someone said to me the other day that all my weddings have a different feel to them.  It is something that occurs to me each time I start processing the photos from a wedding I've just done.

It's not something I'm conscious of at the time.  I suppose it has something to do with the facial features and dress of the bride.  The venue probably adds to it.

So some have a more dramatic style, and some a more artistic style, while others have a more romantic or classical style.

My New Blog

Ok, so I've decided to start a blog.  This will mainly serve to show you things like my favourite photos of the weddings I've done, or even just some quirky ones that I like that would not normally show up on the website gallery.

How cute is this little girl?

This little flower girl was the niece of the bride at Nadia and Nico's wedding.
